SUMMARY:Younger Social Saplings
DESCRIPTION:Ages 6-9\nSocial Saplings is about developing social skills\, regulation and social thinking in children ages 6-9. This is a great program for kids who have trouble socially and have mild anxiety. \nOur classes are small and an interview is conducted beforehand with students to ensure a good class fit. Social Saplings follows Children’s Friendship Training with added self regulation and emotional identification\, and borrows from Social Explorers when needed. \nOur classes end with a 15 min. parent component to keep you abreast of what was covered\, allowing you to practice skills with your child. AFU funds accepted. $750

While I am not a therapist\, I have been studying therapeutic art techniques\, have many years experience with challenged learners and am a certified teacher.
